Welcome To My Crib

I’m a student.

I’m almost always broke, I don’t have much time, and I’m renting an apartment.

BUT I’ve made sure that my room screams me with simple DIYs, and a laid-back, minimal feel.

Check it out!

Decorating can be so simple and inexpensive!

Left: I stuck a fake plant in a mason jar with some rocks for added depth. I then used some duct tape to attach a piece of paper with a minimal quote on the wall!

Right: I took two mason jars, laid them on their sides and hot glued them together. Using materials in an unconventional way can add your own flair to any room.   IMG_4534 Views from the terrarium. Find out how I made mine here.

IMG_4545 This is one of my favourite projects and again, it was so easy to make. I took some twine, clothespins, and printed photos, and strung them on my wall. Then, I added some fairy lights.

IMG_4568 IMG_4595 I love succulents, and I especially love the little cactus I got from IKEA. It adds more life to my mostly white room!

Command hooks are the best. I used them to display some of my snapbacks and my backpack as art next to my full-length mirror.

I’m so happy with how it turned out. I just want to prove that it doesn’t take much time or money to be able to create a house that feels like a home. You just gotta be creative 🙂
